Annotations
In this test, for each of three points, the location of the point is measured ten times. One point (the near point) is at 20% or less arm extension, one point (the far point) is at 80% or more arm extension, and one point (the middle point) is chosen so that the arm is only moderately extended. Then the maximum deviation of each position from the average position and also twice the standard deviation of the residuals are reported for each of the three points. This test is given in ASME AmericanNationalStandard B89.4.22-2004.
